The Wildlife Trust & Forest Schools

The Forest Schools movement takes a learner-centred approach to outdoor education and play in a woodland environment. The Wildlife Trust have been promoters and abassadors of this movement for over sever years in the North West, and the results are tangible. Unsurprisngly, time outdoors immersed in Nature makes for happier kids, more interested in learning, decreasing negative behaviours, improving school results and reinforcing social skills.

I have had the pleasure to film and edit three short videos produced by Oropendola Productions for the Wildlife Trust, highlighting the success of this wonderful programme.

Bailey's Story

Bailey's favourite time of the week in school is with Forest Schools and the Wildlife Trust. This short character driven story highlights how Forest Schools is perceived by one kid and his family.

Filmed and edited for Oropendola Productions.
