The Moose Detective

The moose is the king of the forest, an iconic species of great importance for Sweden. However on Öland, Sweden’s second largest island, something sinister has been happening. For a few years now, moose have been struggling to raise the young, with calves rarely making it past their first week of life. This is when the Moose Detective is called on the scene. Fredrik’s mission is to follow several leads - disease, food shortage, climate change - to put together the pieces of this mystery. Using cutting edge technology and an investigative mind, he will not give up until the mystery is solved.
I worked as sound recordist on this NDR/Doclights production alongside director Heiko de Groot.
